The Cube, Wodonga Performing Arts VIC

Project: The Cube, Wodonga Performing Arts
Builder: Zauner Constructions
Architect: William Ross Architects
Products: Fixed louvres - Opal 200 series

The City of Wodonga's design brief for their performing arts centre was for it to be a building worthy of the artistic performances it would accommodate. It demanded leading edge technology for acoustics, an environmentally sustainable design and the opportunity to be architectural art.

William Ross Architects rose to the challenge, with a visionary design of bold and daring lines coupled with surfaces and colour effects that transport you into the future. No visitor or passerby could forget the magical image of the “cube”, whether in the light of day, or at night with its mystical intrigue.

Zauner Constructions contracted Acculine for the supply and installation of our Opal 200 series louvres. The work involved challenging and opposing angles, with a great attention to detail required to deliver the end result. A testament to the design brief, this building creates an inviting and challenging experience.

Acculine partnered with William Ross Architects to incorporate its Opal 200 fixed louvre series for The Cube, Wodonga Performing Arts Centre.
